Recently, UNISN's technical service team received feedback from a well-known beer manufacturer: after using hot melt adhesive for carton sealing on its production line, partial carton unsealing occurred periodically and intermittently. This issue directly affected product shipment efficiency and packaging integrity, causing disruptions to the customer's production operations. Upon receiving the feedback, UNISN responded immediately, forming a dedicated technical team to rush to the scene. With professional troubleshooting capabilities, the team quickly identified the root cause and implemented a solution, earning high recognition from the customer for its efficient service.
On-site feedback from the customer indicated that the unsealing problem did not occur universally; only certain batches of cartons were affected. It recurred at fixed intervals, showing distinct "partial and periodic" characteristics. The technical team first conducted an investigation focusing on the hot melt adhesive product itself: if the issue stemmed from product quality defects, all cartons should experience unsealing after sealing—this was significantly inconsistent with the actual feedback. Combined with UNISN's product factory inspection data and verification from similar application cases, the team initially ruled out the hot melt adhesive product as the cause and shifted the focus to equipment operation and application scenarios.
Subsequently, the technical team performed a comprehensive inspection of the hot melt adhesive machine on the customer's production line and identified insufficient melt output as the direct trigger: discontinuous supply of adhesive led to intermittent glue shortage in the pump. During high-speed operation, the pump sucked in air, creating a large number of bubbles in the adhesive, which directly reduced the hot melt adhesive's viscosity and ultimately resulted in sealing failure. To verify this judgment, the team attempted to increase the temperature of the hot melt adhesive tank to 170℃ on-site to accelerate melting. However, the glue shortage issue persisted after the equipment operated for 30 minutes, indicating a deeper hidden problem in equipment operation.
Targeting this core issue, UNISN's technical team promptly developed a customized solution for the customer, providing comprehensive cleaning services for the hot melt adhesive machine. Using professional tools, the team thoroughly removed caking, sediment, and residual impurities from the tank, restoring the trough's cleanliness and heat conduction efficiency. After cleaning, the equipment was restarted for testing: the melting rate quickly returned to normal, the glue pump's shortage issue disappeared completely, and the hot melt adhesive maintained stable viscosity output. The customer's periodic carton unsealing problem was fully resolved.
To prevent recurrence at the source and ensure the stability and continuity of the customer's subsequent production, UNISN's technical team offered additional value-added optimization suggestions tailored to the customer's actual production rhythm: outside peak production periods, appropriately reduce the carton sealing speed to minimize prolonged high-temperature exposure of the adhesive in the trough, thereby reducing the risk of caking at the source. They also recommended regular preventive cleaning of the hot melt adhesive tank to extend equipment service life and operational stability.
In this service case, UNISN's technical team vividly interpreted the service philosophy of "Do it better with heart" through its rigorous logic of "elimination method + precise detection", efficient execution with rapid response, and value-added services that exceeded expectations. As a dedicated provider of hot melt adhesive application technology services, UNISN has always focused on customers' actual needs.
